Earth hour
Earth hour is celebrated worldwide on the last Saturday of March every year to raise the awareness about the changes in the climax of the planet by turning off non essential lights in homes and offices.
Earth hour 2012
Many countries take part in this global event. This year the participant countries would have to turn off their lights from 08:30 to 9:30 PM. In Pakistan it is celebrated with passion and a spirit of love for the planet and peace. All the non-essential lights were switched off for an hour in houses and offices.

Earth hour in Pakistan
Earth hour is also celebrated in Pakistan despite of heap of controversies. A funny quote from the opposition of this day celebration in Pakistan is, “Every hour is Earth hour in Pakistan.”
