Mother of all matches or festival?

The cricket match between India and Pakistan had always been consider more a festival than a match. People of both country love cricket. There’s always a severe contest between the two teams. And cricket fans of any country love the match between India and Pakistan. One reason for this is that both the countries had faced three wars between them in 1947, 1965 and 1971. This enhances the enthusiasm as well. That’s why this match is called “mother of all matches”

I am absolutely loving Laughing Place's farm animals. They just had a litter of new born bunnies, who were born no bigger than a quarter. The baby goat in the picture is Lydia, and she is so sweet. Infinite Scrolling Wins, Users Die

Hey Matt says about infinite scrolling here

Howdy guys, thanks for the feedback.

The initial usage stats from infinite scroll look really good — people are reading more posts which means they’re spending more time on your site. As you might guess, people are way more likely to just scroll down than they were to click the “next page” button — it’s faster and better. It’s the future of all web pages with more than one page of content.

We’re still working out some bugs, and as some of you noted your footer widgets are temporarily inaccessible, and figuring out the best way to deal with that and other edge cases.

Google Pakistan Search Engine Hacked

The Google Pakistan (google.com.pk) search engine was been hacked today. The initial reporters believed that that was just a bug caused when the mobile and other wireless  services were disabled for a short interval of time.

Within a few hours Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) declared that the site had actually been hacked by some international hackers and the search engine had been reconstructed and restored.

The search engine was believed to be hacked by a Turkish hackers group Eboz. The same group was involved in taking down of hundreds of other sites.

The early morning today the hackers broke into Google Pakistan search engine and changed the logo header with a picture showing two penguins on a bridge. They also left a message in Turkish.

What was and is their aim from hacking the search engine and other sites is still a question. Though the message left by those hackers on one of the defected sites says that they were just trying to highlight the vulnerabilities.

Whatever was their aim, this hacking has caused a real threat for many other high rated sites.
The boundless acquaintance of anything is dangerous. And the boundless acquaintance of web is HACKING!

Hypocrisy And The Shooting of Malala Yousafzai

The shooting of 14 year old Malala Yousafzai has shocked the world, and shocking it should be, as children don’t deserve such ruthlessness.

What Malala stood for, and what she was fighting against, is not my concern at the moment, for such concerns, whether right or wrong, have already been addressed by a large number of so-called advocates for Human rights and justice. I am not even concerned in knowing who actually tried to kill her, for I as a Muslim do not condone such an act. What I am really concerned about is the hypocritical stance taken by some of the voices who are standing up for Malala today. Two days after the activist girl was shot, American singer Madonna, dedicated a song for her, and said, “This made me cry. The 14-year-old schoolgirl who wrote a blog about going to school. The Taliban stopped her bus and shot her. Do you realise how sick that is?” Now whether Taliban is responsible for this act or not, I am not sure, but why doesn’t Madonna cry when drone attacks launched by her country kill hundreds of innocent men, women and children every day in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen? The children killed here, also wanted to go to schools, they wanted to live too. Doesn’t she realises how sick that is?UNICEF tweeted on October 11 that, “Today our thoughts are with Malala Yousafzai, the inspirational 14-year-old activist for girls’ rights.” What made this organisation for children rights remain mum, when 16 year old Abdul-Rahman al-Awlaki , the innocent son of Imam Anwar al-Awlaki, was killed by the United States, when he was having barbecue with his cousin and friends?

What moral rights do countries like UK, USA, and their warmongering allies have, to condemn this shooting, when their hands are coloured with the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent people in Iraq?

More than half a million children died due to U.S. sanctions against Iraq in the 1990s, and continue to do so till today. When asked whether these killings were worth the price, the then U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, said ’We think the price is worth it’. And the result? Ms. Albright got the Honorary Chair for the World Justice Project for this audacity of her’s, and her victims got Metal Contamination, and Birth Defects as lullabies to go to sleep.

The question we should all be asking is does the blood of children become worthless, when the super-power of the world does it, and is sacred when its adversaries allegedly do it? I don’t think so.
