K2 the second highest mountain of the world situated in Pakistan.
K2 is the second-highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest. With a peak elevation of 8,611 m (28,251 feet), K2 is part of the Karakoram Range, and is located on the border between Baltistan, in Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan-administered Kashmir and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County of Xinjiang, China.It is more hazardous to reach K2 from the Chinese side; thus, it is mostly climbed from the Pakistani side.
K2 is known as the Savage Mountain due to the difficulty of ascent and the second-highest fatality rate among the “eight thousanders” for those who climb it. For every four people who have reached the summit, one has died trying. K2 has never been climbed in winter.

Nice post through i want to tell you for your kind info that its not in pak but in illegaly occupied kashmir, a previous part of india.
Here we believe that k2 is india’s highest peak and it is.

Kashmir is a part of Pakistan not of India. Sorry Dear. But it’s reality. I’m also from Kashmir. BTW K2 is situated in karakurram (Pakistan) not in Kashmir. Have a nice time š .

illegal Pakistan territory…It was part of Hindustan….Chinese occupied Aksai Chin and Pakistan occupied parts of Kashmir when was then signed as the shimla agreement about the LOC but it still illegally occupied by Pakistan
